A nativity scene requested by Sapphirelink. >w> Wanted it to look like a stained glass window so that's why it looks odd. And this is for someone that feels like they need a lil (or a lot, if you're being honest) grace and hope this time of year and for the rest of your life. It is so difficult to sum up the story of Jesus since I know so much about him, I could talk for hours about him and what all I've found out about him through reading his Word. But there is a reason why Christianity is not a religion to me and I hate it when other so-called Christ-followers make it a religion and about judging others so harshly. There is grace in it. Its accepting that you make mistakes and even though you are flawed, there is someone there to hold open their arms and forgive you.
If you know me, I have a difficult time forgiving myself and am constantly apologetic. It is a difficult gift for me to accept Christ's love, but it doesn't change the fact that I have and I follow Him throughout my life. I have hope that my awful ways don't determine my future and that Christ has helped me overcome so many of my faults already.
I know this time of year can be hard for many people, but I pray you find NOT HAPPINESS, but JOY!
To break it down, joy is had when you seek these things in this same order:
J=Jesus
O=Others
Y=Yourself
I am still working on this list and it does get tiring but it is so rewarding.
